Pauline J. Spinks Pauline J. Spinks, 86, of Troy, Ohio, died at 5:43PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy. She was born May 3, 1921, in Troy, Ohio, to the late Harry and Hazel Beavers Winters. Her husband of 54 years, James L. Spinks, preceded her in death on April 12, 1996. Mrs. Spinks is survived by one sister, Delores Ruppert of Pleasant Hill, Ohio and by several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Staunton Schools and was a member of the largest graduating class. Mrs. Spinks was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy, the United Methodist Women and the Cartwright Circle at the church. She was also a member of the Hobart Corporation Quarter Century Club, Local 128 Union Club, and Classic Ladies. She was employed by Troy Sunshade Company for 36 years, retiring on May 29, 1981. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
