Obituary

Paul E. Williams, of Troy, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio on September 22, 1916 to the late Samuel A. and Gertie Collins Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan Jo and David Ehlert of Buchannan, Michigan; granddaughter, Jennifer Boyer; adopted grandsons, Jason Ehlert and Matthew Ehlert; great grandsons, Lucas, Kaleb, Warren, and Matthew and great granddaughters, Rachael, Josey, and Kirstyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters and one brother. Mr. Williams served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired as a metal polisher from Troy Sunshade and NCR and then served as a Miami County Deputy Sheriff until 1982. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Franklin #14 and the Troy Fish and Game. Services will be conducted on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 10:00 am at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic Services will be held during the visitation and military honors will be conducted graveside.
