Paul Richard ''Dick'' McDonald, 76, died on June 17, 2002 after a lengthy illness. He will be remembered as a loving and gentle husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Douglas R. and Susan D. McDonald; Daughter, Paula L. Russell; sister, Ruth Waldren; grandchildren, Andrew R. Behm, Matthew T. Russell, Susan A. Russell Nagy, Lisa M. Russell, Gregory A. Russell, Kristin M. McDonald and four great grandchildren, Brandon and Alex Russell, Stevie and Sydney Nagy. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon C. and Bessie Doss McDonald, son, Terry L. McDonald; son-in-law, Daniel G. Russell, three brothers and one sister. He was member of the First Baptist Church, Troy; past member of BPOE #833 and the Troy Fish and Game Club; US Air Force Veteran of WWII; Basketball official for 18 years. Mr. McDonald graduated from Lena Conover High School. He was the onwer/operator of Snyder-McDonald Garage. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 8:30PM Thursday, June 20 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Service will be at 2:00PM Friday, June 21 with Rev. James M. Long of the First Community Church, Columbus, Ohio officiating. VFW military honor services will be held at the cemetery.
