Obituary

Paul J. Osweiler, 73, of Troy, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio. He was born October 13, 1930 in Lewiston, Montana, the son of late Paul L. and Betty J. O'Grady Osweiler, who survives. On November 28, 1970 he married Ethyl Biser Osweiler. He is also survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law; Heidi and Bob Helm of Dayton; Kathy and James Friedman of Westerville; Amy and Paul Thompson of Cincinnati and Beth and James Golden of St. Paul, Minnesota; two sons, John P. Osweiler of Pahrump, Nevada and Scott Osweiler of Springfield; one granddaughter, Alicia Friedman and one grandson, Jacob Osweiler. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Betty Martin; Mary Jim Powers and Susan Walter Schaller all of Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father and a twin brother at birth. He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Elmhurst, Illinois and the University of Dayton. He retired from W.P.A.F.B. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Korean conflict and a member of Tipp City American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or American Cancer Society. Friends may call at Baird Funeral Home, 2 hours prior to the 2:00PM funeral service on Friday, January 2, 2004. Burial will be at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
