Paul W. Kerr, age 83 of Troy, Ohio died Tuesday, October 23, 2001. He was born of the late, Sherman and Mamie Hoffman Kerr. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy A. Holfinger Kerr. Mr. Kerr was elected in 1948 and served five terms as mayor of Troy and two terms on Troy City Council from 1964-68. He was a WWII US Army Air Force veteran serving in Cerinola Italy and Decar West Africa. Past First Commander of the Troy VFW; member of the Franklin Lodge F.& A.M. and long time inspection candidate of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. A graduate of Troy High School, Mr. Kerr attended Dodge's Radio and Telegraph School and has kept his first class radio ticket since 1938. Mr. Kerr retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1974 as Quality Control Analyst and also managed the Chrysler Credit Union for two years.
