Patrick A. Towson, age 74, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Riverside Nursing Home in Dayton.  He was born on April 18, 1947, in Dayton to the late Arthur and Mary Margaret (Ridgeway) Towson.

Patrick is survived by his wife of over 50 years: Elaine (Lauricella) Towson; daughters: Michelle (Dan) Wright of Piqua and Denise (Michael) Howes of FL; sister: Margaret (Dennis) Mitzen of Sun City, AZ; six grandchildren: Zachary Wright (fiancé Rachel), Ashley (Ricardo) Reyes, Logan (Layne) Wright, Benjamin Hull (fiancé Dajana), Ryan Hull (fiancé Sasha) and Ayden Howes, and great granddaughters:  Olivia Grace Reyes and Elianna Rose Wyatt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Arthur and four sisters: Betty, Annabelle, Barbara and Terry.

Patrick proudly served his country in Vietnam as a member of the US Army.  Patrick was a naturalist, as he loved trees and grass.  Patrick was a carpenter and did electrical work.  He worked at Troy HS as a maintenance person.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Dayton National Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
