Patrick James Dromey, age 34, of Troy, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  He was born August 14, 1988 in Bluffton, Indiana to James Dromey Jr. and Danelle (Janicik) Dromey both of Troy, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 8 years of marriage: Amy (Chappie); his beloved two-year old daughter: Scottie Dromey; sister: Brittany (Jefferey) Kane of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; niece and nephew: Marceline and Merrick Kane; his father-in-law: Mike Chappie and mother in-law: Patty Chappie of Troy, Ohio; sister-in-law: Emily (Brandon) Peters of Mason City, Iowa; nephew and nieces: Branson, Ellee, Rylee and Liberty Peters; brother-in-law: Logan (Andrea) Chappie of Troy, Ohio; nephew: Hudson; Luke Chappie of Troy, Ohio; and Sam Chappie of Piqua, Ohio; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Clare Dromey Sr. of Dunedin, Florida; Daniel and Margaret Janicik of Arnold, Pennsylvania.

Patrick graduated from Troy High School in 2007, received his Associate of Science from Edison State College in 2008 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from DeVry University in 2011.   He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy where he and his wife Amy met and started dating 14 years ago.  He was a civilian employed with the Department of Defense as a Contract Specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, Ohio.

He enjoyed water sports especially boating and jet-skiing and everything to do with cars.  He loved to travel and the adventure of visiting new places along the way. Above all else he loved his family, his loyal companion, Annabelle, and friends; all whom he held very dear and close to his heart.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio.  The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
