PATRICIA L. FURROW

PATRICIA L. FURROW, age 87, of Troy, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on January 17, 1928 in Tipp City to the late Lavern "Jack" and Mary (Hand) Wray.  Her husband, Harvey Furrow, preceded her in death in 1995.

Pat is survived by her children: Michael (Donna) Furrow of Indianapolis, IN, Betsy (Ed) Reed of Springfield, OH, Teresa (Geoff) Horn of Tallahassee, FL, Jackie (George) Shoop and Steven (Stephanie) Furrow, both of Troy; eighteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; and close family friend: Barb Beck.  In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by one brother: Jack Wray; and one grandson: David Shoop.

Pat was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  She was also a member of Grandmother's Club #369 and was an avid card player.  Pat was the owner of Patricia's Candies for many years. She was a member of the Troy High School Class of 1946. Pat was a member of the Junior Girl's Canteen Club, which served WW II troop trains passing through Troy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
