Patricia Alice Brandenburg

Patricia Alice Brandenburg, age 83, of Troy, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare, Troy.  She was born February 20, 1933 in Richmond, Indiana to the late John Wayne and Margarite (Muckridge) Weber.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 57 years Dewey Carl Brandenburg; one daughter: Charlotte Brandenburg of Casstown; one son: David Brandenburg of Bellefontaine and one son and daughter-in-law: Douglas and Rhonda Brandenburg of Warren, Michigan; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by two brothers: James Weber and John Weber and one sister: Sharon Higgins.

Patricia was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Ludlow Falls.  She was a missionary nurse in New Mexico and attended Prarie Bible Institute in Alberta, Canada. She was active in the Child Evangelism Fellowship and she served with her husband as Children's Evangelists for over 30 years. She loved clowning and was a volunteer clown in various hospitals.  Patricia was a LPN obtaining her nursing certificate in Indianapolis, Indiana and worked for over 40 years as a nurse. She was employed with various nursing homes in the area before retiring.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Douglas Brandenburg officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Troy, Ohio.  Friends may call from 9:00AM – 11AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
