Patricia Anne "Trish" Smith, age 60, of Piqua, passed away on April 27, 2024, at her residence. She was born on February 27, 1964, in Chicopee Falls, MA, to the late Robert E. and Betty L. (DeBaun) Byrer.

Trish is survived by her husband of almost 29 years: Ronnie L. Smith; brothers: Robert J. Byrer of Shelbyville, IN, and Billy D. Byrer and Chris (Terri) Byrer, both of Troy; sister: Victoria (Jerry) Kniess of Troy; 5 nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews.

Trish worked as a System Analyst and Programmer for Indiana University for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, family gatherings and her rescue dogs, Buster was her favorite. Trish was a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Computer Science.

Graveside service will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Elnora, IN.
