Patricia A. Matthews, age 51, of Troy, Ohio died November 26, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on November 8, 1954 in Dover, Ohio to Edna R. England Cramlet and the late Robert E. Cramlet. She was married on December 23, 1978 to Michael B. Matthews, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Gareth, and sons, David, Philip, Thomas, and William, all of Troy; mother, Edna Cramlet of Troy; sister, Janet Harnett and son of Columbus, Ohio; and brother, Alan Cramlet and family of Roseville, California. Mrs. Matthews was a 1973 graduate of Troy High School. She graduated with a BA degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1978 and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. She was a full-time homemaker, but had been previously employed as a Research Analyst at Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission in Columbus, Ohio, an Assistant Planner at the Miami County Office of Planning & Zoning, Troy, Ohio, and as General Manager of the Piqua East Mall, Piqua, Ohio. She also worked as a volunteer at Heywood School and as a substitute teacher with the Troy City Schools. There will be no visitation or memorial services.
