Orville J. McDanel is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Marie Stoltz; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol J. and Dick Neal; Delores K. and Ron Swallow and Lois E. Swallow; three granddaughters, Ronda Hershberger, Raegan Schneider and Stacy Landis; two great grandchldren, Justin and Eliza Hershberger.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William Orville and Zella C. Chapman McDanel; one brother, Elwood and one sister, Loretta Crawmer.

He was a member of Cove Springs United Church of Christ, veteran of US Army veteran of World War II;charter member of Troy VFW #5436 and a member of Indian Creek Farm Bureau.
