Opal Louise Morgan Opal Louise Morgan, age 77, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 2:00AM on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. She was born on October 20, 1932 in Adams County, Ohio to the late Jack Taylor and Amanda Cupps Taylor. Her husband of 61 years, Robert A. "Bob" Morgan, survives. Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Floyd M. "Butch" and Terri Morgan and Gary L. and Debbie Morgan all of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law: Deborah E. and Jack Brown of Sidney, Ohio; grandchildren: Kimberly and Bill Innes, Tony and Andrea Morgan, Bryan Morgan, Chad Morgan, Amy Morgan and fiance, Lorne Buskirk, Chad and Amanda Palsgrove, Jennifer and Brenton Line, Jeremy and Misti Landrey, Justin Landrey, Jayme and Kim Thuma, and Dina Thuma; and twenty-two great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her seven brothers, George, Earl, Charles, Elija, Harry, Floyd, and Morris and four sisters, Elizabeth, Nettie, Rosella, and Gladys. She was a 1963 graduate of Troy High School. She was a payroll clerk for Hobart Corp; worked in advertising at Hobart Cabinet and waitressed at Dog House and Empire. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Thomas A. Baugh Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
