Opal C. Sterling, 92, of Troy, OH, died Thursday, March 1, 2007. She was born January 26, 1915 in Newman, IL to the late John and May Hines Chandler. She was married to the late Allen Sterling. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ronald E. and Judee Spring of Troy, OH; sisters: Vera Leuty of Allerton, IL and Mary Crisp of Florida; grandson Erik Spring of Baltimore, MD; granddaughter Candie Wilson of Troy, OH; and great-grandchildren Chris, Katie and Carrie Wilson all of Troy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Lavern and John Chandler and sister, Velva Cox. Mrs. Sterling was a member of First Baptist Church in Troy, OH. There will be private family services and interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Maintenance Fund.
