Obituary

Norman E. Monticue, 69, of Troy, Ohio died Sun. June 24, 2001 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born Jan. 7, 1932 in Waynesburg, Ohio to the late Glenner and Emma English Monticue. Mr. Monticue is survived by his wife of 46 yrs. Marie Fehn Monticue; 2 sons, Glenner of Wilmington, Delaware and Norman of Troy; 2 sisters, Clara Theil of Canton, OH and Elizabeth Lapinski of Glasgow, KY; 5 grandchildren Eric and Glenner of Columbus, Tyler of Union City, Kathryn and Thaddeus of Trotwood. Norman was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy; A US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict; AMVETS; Eagles; Troy Fish and Game; Redman's where he served as keeper of the records; Forresters in Canton, OH and active in coaching little league and teener baseball. A Graduate of Kent State University, He retired from BF Goodrich in Troy in 1990 after 26 years of service. Funeral Services will be held Fri. June 29, 2001 @ 10:30 AM at the Baird Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Brunner officiating. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. Friends may call Thurs. June 28 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Redman's Lodge will offer service at 7:30PM. Military honors will be performed at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
