Norman Eugene McKinley, age 79, of West Milton, OH, passed away on May 10, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient. He was born on November 3, 1945 in Lima, OH to the late Joseph Milton and Betty Jane (Wagner) McKinley.

Norman is survived by his wife: Linda (Coolidge) McKinley of West Milton; children: Matthew D. McKinley of Franklin, OH, Natalie Suzanne Knife Eric Knife of Troy, and Jacob Allen McKinley Jessica McKinley of New Carlisle; siblings: Dennis (Charmaine) McKinley and Sherri (Craig) McKinley-Hilyard; and grandchildren: Jacob A. Comer, Samuel E. McKinley, and Sawyer B. McKinley. Inlaws: Cynthia Rick Conrad Wanda Dennis Newland and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his brothers: Terry McKinley and Denny McKinley.

Norm was a dedicated family man, avid fisherman, lifelong golfer, and boat enthusiast. His personality was one of a kind, and his presence was larger than life. He was sharp witted, with a universal humor that was magnetic. He spent many hours building model airplanes, and on any day you could find him tinkering in his garage.  A diverse and interesting person. Norm had 50 years in the meat business, he worked his way up from a butcher at 15 years old learning the trade at Bazleys meat market in Lima Ohio, to later become a regional and district manager at John Morrell meat packing in Cincinnati Ohio.  He was drafted in the army during the Vietnam Era. Married 52 years, he often said to his wife Linda "You were the only girl for me" Norm was an advocate, leader, and protector of his family, we all turned to him for all of life's problems. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love him.

Norm was a member of Troy Baptist Church. He often said "God helped me all of my life"

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on May 14, 2025 at Shawnee Cemetery, Lima.
