Norman E. Dane was a resident of Troy. He died Wed., May 12,2004 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. He was born June 15,1937 in Miami County. He is the son of Paul E. Dane and Ruth C. MassieDane. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Barker Dane; two sons; Steven P. Dane and David N. Dane. He was a member and served as elder and Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Troy. Mr. Dane served his country and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. A graduate of Troy High School in 1955 and the University of Michigan in 1960. Formerly an employee with Hobart Brothers Company for 30 years, he retired from the Troy-Miami County Public Library after 10 years of service.
