Norma I. Rush Norma I. Rush, age 92 of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Sterling House of Troy after an extended illness. She was born on November 4, 1919 in Troy, to the late Floyd and Nellie Gorman Rush. She is survived by one sister, Mary Byrd Gray of Troy; nephew, John R. Marilyn Updike; niece, Janet Dick Gordon of Long Island, New York; and several great- nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Ms. Rush was preceded in death by three sisters: Lois Wilhelm in 1983, B. Lucille Bostic in 2001, and Helen R. Updike in 2006. In her early years, she was a beautician. She later served in the US Air Force and continued to serve as a supply clerk with the Federal Government, retiring in 1980 when she returned to the Troy area. A graveside service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, September 14, 2012 in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio with interment to follow.
