Norma J. Pittenger of Troy, passed away Thursday May 29, 2014 at Dorothy Love Nursing Home. She was born December 30, 1920 in Troy, Ohio to the late William and Effie Burnside. Norma was married to the late Harold L. Pittenger.

Two sisters and one brother preceded her. She is survived by one daughter, Linda M. Brant of Troy, and one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Valerie Pittenger of Alger, Ohio, four grandchildren: Jeffrey Brant, Mark and Teri Brant, Emilee and Rick Roach, Mollee and James McCullough; ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pittenger was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Troy.

She retired from A.O. Smith Corp. in Tipp City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Suite G100, Dayton, OH 45449, for a cure.
