Nelson D. Kuykendall, age 65, of Urbana, OH passed away on August 30, 2024 at Heritage Center in Minster, OH. He was born on May 27, 1959 in Troy, OH to the late Virgil Talford and Helen Marie (Serr) Kuykendall.

Nelson is survived by his son: Aaron Thomas Kuykendall; sisters: Nora Elizabeth Bowman Evilsizor and Nina Ruth Chalifour; and cousins: Nadine Dixon and Jim Wintrow.

Nelson earned a bachelor's degree from Wright State University in 1994 and a master's degree from The Ohio State University in 1995. He worked for 12 years as an inmate counselor with the Ohio Department of Rehab and Corrections. Nelson was a member of Lena Baptist Church.

At Nelson's request there are to be no services.
