Obituary

Neil A. Pearson Neil A. Pearson, age 71, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 25, 1939 in West Charleston, Ohio to the late Eugene A. and Miriam I. Tucker Pearson. His wife of 45 years, Mary J. Motter Pearson, survives. Also surviving are his four children and their spouses: Angie and Tim Hutchinson of Sevierville, Tennessee, Becky and Spencer Griswold of Troy, Trudy and Ed Angel of Troy and Mark and Meagan Pearson of Rockingham, North Carolina; one sister, Alice Pearson of Troy; nineteen grandchildren: Stephen, Keith, Brooke, Erica, Morgan, Nicholas, Courtney, Wyatt, Andrew, Alysha, Abigail, Adam, Aiden, Trevor, Logan, Garrett, Zachary, Madee and Lucas; and four great-grandchildren: Stephie, Ashton, Henry and Christian. Neil was a graduate of Miami East High School. He was a member of Troy Baptist Temple where he was active in the Bus Ministry, teen department and Silver Stars. Neil was a US Air Force Veteran and retired from L. & C.P. Company in 2001. He liked to fish, travel and work on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and helping others. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Troy Baptist Temple with Pastors David Mulvaine, Frank Workman and Michael Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call from 12-2:00 PM at the church. Baird Funeral Home, Troy is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Troy Baptist Temple Bus Garage Fund, 691 E. Staunton Road, Troy, Ohio 45373.
