Nancy Carol (Witters) Fish, age 82, of Troy, OH passed away at 6:45 PM on January 29, 2014

at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH.  She was born in Dayton, OH on September 30, 1931 to the late Harrison and Gladys (Marshall) Witters.  She was married to her beloved husband, Joseph Raymond Fish, for 55 years.  He preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Debbie Fish, Dayton, OH; one daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Bill Whidden, Troy, OH; three grandchildren: Derrick Austin, Troy, Bethany (Mitchell) Greene, Troy, OH and Laura (Mickey) Battle, Anchorage, Alaska; and seven great grandchildren: Michael Whidden, Fiona, Alexandria and T. J. Battle, and Hunter, Ava and Maxwell Lee.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Sally Jo Austin; one brother: Jim Witters; and one sister: Phyllis Helmbold.

Nancy graduated from Patterson Co-op School, Dayton, OH.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy, OH and Friends of Lake Cumberland.  Nancy was a special education pre-school teacher for Riverside School, Troy, OH.  She was an avid card player.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home , Troy, OH with John Jung officiating.  Family interment at Dayton Memorial Park will be held at a later date.  Friends may call from 1-3 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
