Nancy E. Higbee, 66, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Koester Pavilion in Troy. She was born to the late Floyd and Pauline NicodemusAlexander on January 2, 1937 in Vandalia, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Higbee, Sr. in 1994. Surviving are 2 daughter and sons-in-law; Cindy L. and Dale Kaster of Troy, Sheryl A. and Jim Caporal of Kettering and 1 son and daughter-in-law; Robert L. and Ruth Higbee, Jr. of Troy. Also surviving are brothers, Victor, Paul, Russell and Joseph Alexander, and sisters, Bette Ostendorf and Arlene Davenport. Nancy had 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the former owner and operator of Sugar Shck and Miami Foods in Troy.
