Obituary

Nancy S. Anderson Nancy S. Anderson, age 68, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 30, 2010 at Koester Pavilion Freedom Court, Troy. She was born on June 2, 1942 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Edwin H. and Christine Watters Cooke. Her husband of 49 years, Marvin R. Anderson, survives. She is also survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffrey and Carol Anderson of Dayton, Kentucky and Robert Alan and Deborah Anderson of Troy, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and George Hanna of Celina, Ohio; and two grandchildren: Justin Anderson of Troy and Jenna Anderson of Waverly, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Cooke. She was a 1960 graduate of Piqua Central High School and a member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Piqua. She was a former Sunday School teacher and youth advisor at the church. She enjoyed reading and loved her grandchildren. Nancy retired from Evenflo, Piqua, after 25 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 6-8PM Thursday and 12-1:00PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Koester Pavilion Freedom Court, 3232 N.
