Miriam E. Longendelpher,devoted wife and mother, age 77, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion Nursing Center. She was born on August 5, 1926 in Waynesville, Ohio to the late Ollis and Gladys Post St. John. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Longendelpher and their three sons and daughters-in-laws; Lonnie and Marcia Longendelpher of West Carrolton, Ohio; James ''Erlan'' and Cindy Longendelpher of Oklahoma City, OK; and Myron and Pamela Longendelpher of Fletcher, Ohio. She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law; Jean and Louis Young of Beavercreek, Ohio; Rita and Joe Pillion of Springfield, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law; Rollis and Goldie St. John of Casstown, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She also has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Vivian St. John. She was a member of Troy View Church of God. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery in Casstown, Ohio.
