Miriam J. (Lecklider) Deeter, age 92, formerly of Troy; more recently of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013.
She was born on April 24, 1921 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Walter Lecklider and Ruth (Hershey) Lecklider.
Miriam was married to Norman D. Deeter who preceded her in death on May 23, 1988.
Miriam is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deby and James Fellowes of Wheaton, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Judy Hadden of Lexington, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Miriam was preceded in death by her son, David A. Deeter and brother, Robert Lecklider.
Miriam was a graduate of Greenville High School.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Troy.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Allen Marheine officiating.  Family interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brukner Nature Center, 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road, Troy, Ohio 45373.  Friends may express condolences to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
