Mildred Partin Mildred Partin, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2010. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Valley Creek, Tennessee to the late Caleb and Geneva Jackson Hatfield. She married David Lee Partin in 1945 and in 1954 moved with their three children to Sidney, Ohio and in 1960, relocated to Troy, Ohio. She is survived by her children: Carolyn Jack Shanesy, Ruth Ann James Scaggs all of Troy, Ohio and Bill Judy Partin of Clinton, Tennessee; grandchildren: James Carol Fryman of Casstown, Ohio, Keith Rhonda Shanesy of Jacksonville, Florida, Todd Scaggs and Paula Jeff Bristow all of Troy, Ohio, Angela Barr of Grimsley, Tennessee, Billy David Amber Partin of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Jay Douglas Partin of Okemah, Oklahoma; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandsons; four step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; two step great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Jerry Jackie Hatfield of Frakes, Kentucky, Ronald Joyce Hatfield of Clairfield, Tennessee and Jim Edd Hatfield of Pineville, Kentucky; and three sisters: Betty Johnnie Harrison of Louisville, Kentucky, Sue Thacker of Athens, Tennessee and Kathy James Claxton of Chatsworth, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her spouse, David in 1994; grandson, James Eric Scaggs; two brothers, Bill and Bobby Hatfield and one sister, Ruth Hurst. She had a gentle spirit who always saw the good in everyone and was faithful to pray for her family and their salvation. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy, Ohio and served with Operation Compassion where she would bake goodies to take with her to visit the shut-ins of the church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Troy, with Pastor Dale Christian and Pastor Doug Magin officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
