Mildred J. "Millie" Alfred, age 60 of Troy, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Soin Medical Center in Dayton.  She was born on April 28, 1961, in Dayton to the late Shirley (Niswonger) Lindsey.

Millie is survived by five children: Jennifer (Gregory) Duffer of TX, James (Teresa) Alfred of Troy, Dawn (Nathan) Morris of OK, Anthony (Elizabeth) Alfred of Troy and Heather (Scott) Gotthardt of Troy; six siblings:  David (Joanne) Lindsey of Camden, OH, Terry Walter of Melbourne, KY, Robert Stidham of Lewisburg, OH, Robin (Dave) Herres of Snellville, GA, Carletta Morris of Fayetteville, AR, and Dorothy (James) Landis of N. Ft. Myers, FL; twenty two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband: Michael Allen Alfred in 2010 and one sister: Virginia Shaw.

Millie was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy.  She was a loving homemaker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Troy with Pastor Dale Christian and Pastor Nate Beeman officiating.  Family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 PM on Saturday at the church.
