Mildred M. Gurklies, 87, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1917 in Concord Township, Ohio to the late William and Nona Sayers Myers. She married George M. Gurklies and he precedes her in death, December 31, 1987. She is survived by her nineteen nieces and nephews. Along with her husband preceding her in death are 2 sisters, Dorothy Shanesy and Kathrine Tremblay and 1 brother, Richard Myers. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington, Ohio. She retired from Hobart Corp in 1979 after 38 years of service. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to Express their Appreciation to the Midwest Nursing Staff for her many years of Care.
