Mildred J. Dorman Mildred J. Dorman, age 88, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 8:05AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Samara Assisted Living, Fairborn, Ohio after an illness of two weeks. She was born on April 8, 1922 in Troy, Ohio to the late Harley and Myrtle Short Hines. She was married to Richard C. Dorman in 1942 of Piqua who preceded her in death on November 11, 2002. Mrs. Dorman is survived by her daughter, Kathy Dorman of Phoenix, Arizona; her sister, Helen Stickel of Fairborn, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Troy High School and a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy. Mrs. Dorman started working in WWII in what became the electronics industry. She retired in the late 1970s. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Patrick McKinney of the First United Church of Christ, Cincinnati, officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Monday evening at the funeral home.
