Mildred Irene Cox, 87 died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Elsie and Norman Avey, Ruth Williams, Shirley and Gary Rhoades, Emma and Kim Giles, Kristy and David Campbell; sons and daughtes-in-law: Arthur and Edith Cox and Jerry and Edie Cox. She has 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Studebaker and Naomi Griffith Studebaker Bowen, her husband, Arthur H. Cox in 1993; one daughter, Elzabeth Cox, two brothers, three sisters, two grandsons, Scott Williams and Norman Avey, Jr. Mrs. Cox was a member of Piqua Church of the Brethren. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Wednesday, June 19 at Baird Funeral Home. Services will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday June 20 at 10:00AM with Pastor Daniel House officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the Piqua Church of the Brethren Memorial Fund.
