Mildred Lucille Benham Mildred Lucille Benham, age 90, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away at 9:47PM on Monday, January 31, 2011 at SpringMeade HealthCenter, Tipp City. She was born on October 25, 1920 in Troy, Ohio to the late Vernon E. and Helen Colebaugh Peters. Her husband of 61 years, Roy E. Benham, preceded her in death on January 14, 2004. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Beverly Benham of Tipp City, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bill Sutton of New Carlisle, Ohio; four granddaughters: Cheryl Teeters of Huber Heights, Ohio, Brenda Wheat of Brookville, Ohio, Rebecca Sutton of Dayton, Ohio and Kimberly Harbison of Tipp City; one grandson, Doug Benham of Tipp City; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Benham was preceded in death by her two sisters, Norma Jean Schoenheit and Ethel Kister. She was a graduate of Staunton High School. Mrs. Benham was a member of Cove Springs United Church of Christ and a homemaker. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Evan Garber officiating. Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
