Michael D. Wilson Michael D. Wilson, age 65, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 9:40PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at The Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio after a seven month battle with Myeloma. He was born on November 18, 1944 in Piqua, Ohio to the late George D. and Edra V. Karnehm Wilson. His wife of over 45 years, Sharon Brown Wilson, survives. He is also survived by two sons: Michael Scott Christine Wilson of Troy, Ohio and Marc A. Wilson Michael Crowe of New Albany, Indiana; two brothers: William K. Mary Ellen Wilson and Robert Wilson all of Piqua, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Erika, Logan and Brieanna Wilson. Michael was preceded in death by one son, David Wilson; two brothers, George Wilson and Joe Wilson; and one sister, Nancy Feeser. He was a graduate of Piqua High School, class of 1962. He was a member and very active at St. John's United Church of Christ, Troy; a former member of the Troy Football Parents Association where he ran concessions during the Troy football games; and a member of Troy Junior Baseball where he also ran concession. Michael worked for Copperweld, Piqua for 37 years prior to working for Classic Products of Piqua. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Reverends Stuart and Gail Wells officiating. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Friday at the funeral home.
