Michael L. Whitmer, age 51, formerly of Troy and more recently of Pleasant Hill, Ohio died Tuesday, October 9, 2001. Michael is survived by his mother, Delorma Dee Flowers Whitmer Steineman; daughter, Jennifer A. Whitmer Smith; son, Michael C. Whitmer; sisters, Mrs. Steve Pamela Hunter and Jodie Whitmer; grandchildren, Rebekah Parman; Brittany Parman; Caitlyn Smith; Jordan Michael Whitmer and Cameron Matthew Whitmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Whitmer and brother, Robert G. Whitmer. Michael was a graduate of Troy High School in 1968 and was an employee of Meijers of Troy.
