Michael K. Slack, age 45, of Covington, OH passed away on September 19, 2023.  He was born on June 19, 1978 in Troy, OH.

He is survived by his mother and father: Deb and Mike Miller of Troy; daughter: Madison Mankin of Arcanum; siblings: Misty Smith of Covington; Cody (Danielle) Miller of West Milton and Michaela (Shawn) Miller of Covington; nephew: Carter Lane of Covington; grandfather: Wilson Miller of Troy and aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by grandparents: Jane and Alva "Bud" Tillman and Connie Miller and his birth father: Michael K. Slack Sr.

He was a 1996 graduate of Troy High School.  He was a talented drummer, guitarist and artist.  Michael was a passionate, loyal person.  He went all in with everything he did.  He was protective of his family and friends – always the big brother.  Michael's biggest passion in life was music.  No matter how he was feeling he would turn to music to express that.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with a time of personal sharing to follow at 7:00PM.  The family invites friends to honor his favorite color by wearing purple.  Private interment will take place at a later date.
