Michael L. Shoup, age 75, of Trotwood, formerly of Troy, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on October 1, 1949, in Troy, to the late Irwin E. and Anna M (Weingart) Shoup.

Michael is survived by two children: Christopher (Amanda) Shoup of Casstown and Angela (Dustin) Copas of Troy; four siblings: Vickie (Jerry)  Wilson of Troy, Rev. Steven L. Shoup of West Milton, Bruce (Debbie) Shoup of Piqua and Connie (Wes) Billing of Troy; two grandchildren: Jemisan Inlow and Jeylan Inlow, both of Troy; two step grandchildren: Hailey Baker and Erin Baker, both of Casstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew: Eric Reed.

Michael was a 1968 graduate of Troy High School.  He served his country as a member of the US Navy.

Private Graveside Service will be held on Monday at Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Memorials may be given to the family at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
