Michael Ray Sandlin, age 69, of Tipp City, OH passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at SpringMeade Health Center.  He was born on November 21, 1947 in Troy, OH to the late Lewis Sandlin and Jessie DeBord Sandlin of Nicholasville, KY.

Mike is survived by his daughter: Angela (John Jakubek) Sandlin of Tipp City; brother: Patrick Sandlin of Nicholasville, KY; grandson: Corey Sandlin; great-grandson: Cole Sandlin; step children: Jennifer, Jamey and Heather Stevenson; Niece: Katie Kilpatrick; and special friend: Patricia Humerick of Vandalia.

Mike served his country in the US Marine Corp.  He was a member of the Ginghamsburg Church, where he served as Lay Pastor.  He was a part of the Jail Ministry and spoke with youth at the Miami County Juvenile Detention Center.  Mike was formerly employed with the Miami County Sheriff Department and Deltek.

Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Ginghamsburg Church, 6759 South County Road 25A, Tipp City, OH with John Jung officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM on Friday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
