Michael Allen Ramey, age 64, of Troy, OH, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born on September 13, 1958 in Mansfield, OH.

He survived by his wife: Reba G. (Curry) Ramey; mother: Phyllis (Fulwider) Patton and stepfather: Harold Patton both of Shelby, OH; children: Grant Ramey of Galion, OH; Keith (Angela) Young of Troy, OH; George Young of Sidney, OH; Michael (Jessica) Young of Mansfield, OH and Joe Young of Piqua, OH; siblings: Angie (Mark) Tedrow of Elyria, OH; Kenny (Rhonda) Ramey of MS, David (Linda) Patton of Loveland, OH, Mark (Cari) Patton of Shelby, OH; Steve (Jessica) Patton of Shelby, OH; half-sister: Karen (Tony) Vigil of CO; stepsister: Sharon (Kenny) Potter of Toledo, OH and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog: Frosty.

He was preceded in death by his father Jackie Ramey; sister: Debra Lebowitz; stepbrothers: Timothy Patton and James Patton.

He was a veteran of the US Army.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post # 43 of Troy.  He enjoyed remodeling the house, baking cookies with the grandkids, football, baseball and NASCAR.  He was fun loving and always the jokester. He was formerly employed with Firestone; Mansfield News Journal and MDT in Willard, OH.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will follow with honor guard services in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
