Michael James Isely Michael James Isely, of Covington Kentucky, formerly of Troy, Ohio, passed away on April 25, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio after a long battle with diabetes. Mike was born on May 25, 1950 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the son of Magdalene and John Isely. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Fond du Lac and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Mike worked as a Division Credit Manager for Alcoa Building Products in Sidney Ohio and as a Corporate Credit Manager for First Supply LLC in Madison, Wisconsin. Currently, he was a Financial and Marketing Research Consultant. On May 29, 1993 he married Julia Anderson in Troy. The pride and joy of Mike's life was his daughter Riley. He lived for the time that he spent with her. Mike is survived by his daughter Riley Isely and her mother Julia of Troy. His brothers and sisters: John Mary Jo Isely and their children Patrick and Kate, Dennis Sandy Isely and their children Kimberly Jeff Grabowski and Rachel, Timothy Kris Isely and their children William and Samantha, Mary Isely and her children Robert and Niccola Somers, Ann Sean Fox and their children Joseph and Julia, Peter Patricia Isely and their son Paul, Paul Yuriko Isely and their son Takahiro. He is also survived by his stepfather Charles Szmurlo, as well as many cousins and friends. A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 409 E. Main Street, Troy. A luncheon will follow at the church where the family will greet visitors. Memorials may be directed to the family. Baird Funeral Home, Troy, is handling arrangements.
