Michael E. Howard, age 60, of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born of Elwood Howard and Effie Miller Howard who reside in Morehead, KY. Mike was the husband of 41 years to Marcella Ferguson Howard. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Jeff Van Norman of Alpharetta, GA and son, Seth of Chicago, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Jim Ison of Sandy Hook, KY and brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Krystal Howard of Morehead, KY; and his two granddaughters, Claire and Caroline Van Norman. Mike was a longtime officer and supporter of the Troy Teener Baseball Association. A graduate of Morehead State University, he retired August 2005 from Cincinnati Insurance Company after 37 years. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2006. Private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University.
