MICHAEL SCOTT HENDERSON, age 44, of Piqua, passed away on March 25, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Troy on September 9, 1972 to Douglas A. Henderson of Piqua and Cindia F. (Longendelpher) Cyr of Wilmington.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his former wife: Christina (Davis) Henderson of Troy; step-father: Lance B. Cyr, of Wilmington; step-mother: Melissa L. (Miller) Henderson; children: Britney, Brandon and Abigail, all at home in Troy; siblings: Douglas A. (Tracy) Henderson, Jr. of AL, Jessica (Matthew) Dunno of IN and Danielle Henderson of Piqua; grandmother: Thelma M. Archer of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael attended Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church.  He was a 1991 graduate of Troy High School.  Michael was an avid entrepreneur.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 and one hour prior on Saturday at the funeral home.
