Michael Demido, 87, of Troy, Ohio died on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Roswell, Georgia. He was born on August 14, 1918 in Hazelton, PA to the late Charles Wasyl and Tatina Kushko Demido. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Demido, in 2004, his wife of 61 years. He is survived by his son, James B. Demido of Troy, OH; four grandchildren, Michael John Demido; Suzanne Frawley; James Demido and Elisha Demido; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Frawley; Kyle and McKenna Demido and two sisters, Mary Banus of Allentown, PA and Anna Gould of Lorraine, New York. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Troy and served in the US Army Air Corps. He graduated from Adams High School in Upstate, New York and New York Aviation School in Utica, New York. He was formerly employed with General Motors Company, Moraine, Ohio and Tube Products in Troy, Ohio as a Design Engineer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 11:00am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
