Michael W. Bartik, age 81, of Troy, OH passed away on November 2, 2021 at Troy Hospital.  He was born on June 6, 1940 in Warren, OH  to the late Michael W. and Mary Katherine (Kramer) Bartik.

He is survived by his wife: Roberta "Bobbi"  (Empfield) Kelly; sons: Mark (Linda) Bartik of Rapid City, SD and Martin (Shelly) Bartik of Troy; daughter: Melanie (Michael) Goddard of Troy; two granddaughters: Ariana (Matthew) Davis and Angeliah Bartik. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years: Martha on November 3, 2018.

Michael served in the US Navy from 1957 – 1977.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  He was a longtime volunteer at Richard's Chapel soup kitchen and First Place Food Pantry.  He was a member of the Epiphany Jail Ministry and the Emmaus Community.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon on November 13, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, Troy with Pastor Chris Heckaman and Pastor David Richey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-12 PM prior to the service.
