Merry J. Flory, 62, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at her residence. She was born on May 18, 1942 in Chester County, SC to the late Theodore Johnson and Phyllis McKan. She is preceeded in death by her father. Surviving are her mother, Phyllis McKan Johnson; former husband, Ronald L. Flory; and her three children; sons and daughters-in-laws; Scott and Joyce Travis of Dayton, Ohio; Mark and Yonnie Travis of Troy, Ohio and David and Patty Travis of Sidney, Ohio. She is also survived by her half-sisters; Candy Harmon of Florida and Pamela Drake of Tennessee. She has eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was baptized into the Church of the Brethren. She was a 1960 graduate of Owosso High School; Flint Michigan Jr. College; Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She retired as a practical nurse after 25 years of service. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
