Melvadene Lee (Studebaker) Cruea, age 83, of Troy, OH passed away on January 13, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on October 14, 1938 in Troy, OH to the late Harley and Thelma (Wray) Studebaker.

Melvadene is survived by her daughter: Sally (Steven) Cornelius of Union; two sons: Darwin Cruea of  St. Paris and Herbert L. Cruea III of Dayton; sister: Barbara Edmison of Troy; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Herbert L. Cruea, Jr. on May 2, 2016; sisters: Betty Reynolds and Dorcas Walker and brother: Richard Studebaker.

Melvadene was a member of the First Baptist Church.  She loved the outdoors and caring for her yard and flowers.  She worked for many years as a trainer and attendant for vending companies.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, with Pastor Dale Christian officiating.
