Melody (Mikki) Joe Gibbons, age 73, of Tipp City, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Kettering Hospital. She was born April 15, 1951 in Troy to the late Harold Edgar and Thelma Irene (Larck) Harper.

Mikki is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Rex H. Gibbons; daughter: Angela Marie Sandlin-Smith (Lucas); sister: Ann Jenks of Troy; grandchild: Corey Sandlin; and one great grandchild: Cole Sandlin; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Kay Johnson, Iva Miller, Lorene Roberts, Gladis Hawkins, and Connie Kiser; brother: Earl Harper.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will take place in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
