Maybelle Sekyra Johnston, age 95 of Sidney passed away Friday March 22, 2002. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Sekyra, mother Anna Lange Sekyra, husband William O. Johnston, son William Charles Johnston & sisters Helen Gaier, Barbara Good & Jeannette Shearer. She is survived by daughter Marianna Ceyler-Roth of Sidney, Ohio, brother Charles Sekyra of Sidney, Ohio, one grandchild, Mrs. Michael Cheri Epperson of Russia, Ohio, one great-grandchild Nathan Allan Otho Epperson. She was a member of Casstown Lutheran Church, Graduate of Troy High School in 1923, Attended University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University. She had a lifetime certificate for teaching the deaf, & privately tutored deaf students in Miami East School System. Contributions can be made to the Casstown Luteran Church.
