Maxine Ann Parsons passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.  She was born December 18, 1936 in Troy, Ohio to the late Alva Karnehm and Zola Jane Massie Karnehm.  Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked at the Owens-Corning Technical center and Newark Healthcare center in Newark, Ohio and had a successful career with the State of Ohio in downtown Columbus, Ohio.  Maxine, and her late husband Gail, were avid Corvette enthusiasts and enjoyed the business of restoring Corvette fuel injection units. Since his passing, she has thoroughly enjoyed a more active social life including bowling, attending church, and exercising.

She is survived by her two daughters Sharon Kay Parsons of Bexley, Ohio and Brenda Kay (Randall) Grubb of Elk Park, North Carolina; grandson Michael (Mike) Herman of Bexley, Ohio.

Funeral information :  On Thursday, September 24 ^th , the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Baird Funeral Home, 555 N. Market St. Troy, Ohio 45373.

Memorial Service information: On Saturday, September 26 ^th , the family will receive guests from 9:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. at White Chapel United Methodist Church, 6177 White Chapel Road, Newark, Ohio  43055.
