MAUDE ALICE BAKER

MAUDE ALICE BAKER, age 82, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born in Hazard, KY on July 15, 1932 to the late Brack and Dora (Wadkins) Brewer.  Her husband of 58 years, Everett G. Baker, survives.

In addition to her husband, Maude is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law: Dora and Brent Rutledge of Troy, Diane (Fiance Wayne Maxwell) Posey of Dayton, Teresa Lantis of Troy, Alice and Nick Gwin of Troy and Brenda and Greg Stewart of Troy; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and one great granddaughter.

Maude retired from A O Smith in 1992.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Lauren Allen as officiant.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
