Matthew "Scotty" Wilson, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on April 20, 2025 at the Troy Rehabilitation Center. He was born on September 3, 1937 in Armadale, Scotland to the late Alexander McDonald and Elizabeth "Bessie" (Brown) Wilson.

He is survived by his brother: John Wilson of Scotland and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse: Mary E. Kelley Wilson and brother: Alex Wilson.

Scotty was a 1952 graduate of Lindsey High School in Bathgate, Scotland. He moved to Ohio in 1957 and enlisted in the US Army from 1960 – 1962. He was employed with Hobart Brothers Company for over 19 years and a former employee with Miami Shores Golf Course in Troy.
